Progressive Rhythm Skate, Level 2 (Starting June 1st)

Looking for a fun time on wheels in a group setting? Bring a friend or make some new ones in our open and friendly learning environment! In this Progressive Rhythm Skate Level 2 program we will learn and drill two or more moves per class, combine them in a choreographed routine and progressively build your confidence over 4 weeks. We recommend taking Learn to Skate Level 1, 2 and 3 or Intro to Rhythm Skate, or have the ability to perform basic roller dance movements (eg. able to cross feet and hold balance, pivot, stagger feet, transition, roll on toe wheels confidently). The final choreography may be recorded and be featured in our social media posts. Please let us know if you do not want to be recorded and posted and we will accommodate your request.

*NEW* Intro to Rhythm – Adults 14+ (starting Feb 15th)

DESCRIPTION: You are intrigued perhaps by “dance roller skating” or what we call Rhythm Skating, and you are unsure how movements are broken down.  You need some instruction that explains and dissects movements, (where the weight is in your boots, how to balance, etc.). Intro to Rhythm will provide you with excellent break downs of movements that are gentle, yet has you feeling fulfilled and finally understanding how it’s done when you leave each class.  Before taking this class, you should know how to stand, roll forwards, backwards, stop, lift one foot with some confidence.  This is a 4 week progressive introductory rhythm course.
